Another Jeopardy Contestant Gives Yet Another Insanely Stupid Answer on Sports Clue (VIDEO)
Jeopardy contestants have demonstrated numerous times over that last several months that they know practically nothing about football. And that’s kind of understandable given the age-old divide between “jocks” and “nerds.” But you’d think Jeopardy contestants might know a little bit about baseball. In recent years nerds have revolutionized baseball, taking over MLB front offices and using advanced metrics and algorithms to give us a more comprehensive, less superstitious understanding of player value. Surely Jeopardy contestants are fans of baseball. Right?
Nope, apparently not.
On Wednesday’s episode of the long-running quiz show, contestants were given the clue, “spring training baseball in Florida is known as this league.” The answer, of course, is “What is the Grapefruit League?” but you could certainly be forgiven if they maybe got a little mixed up and said “What is the Cactus League?” or even “What is the minor league?”
Unfortunately, our boy Jack here buzzed in and gave one of the most unintentionally hilarious answers of all time. Take a look:

Bush League? Seriously?
Honestly, at this point I think the people who write these Jeopardy questions are just trying to make the contestants look bad.
