Braves Are Unhappy With Top Prospect Because He Wears His Cap Tilted On His Head

According to, the average age of a Major League Baseball fan is 57-years-old and it’s not hard to see why that is.

Case in point: Things like this that upset people in and around baseball.

Ronald Acuna is the Braves’ top prospect and has been ranked no worse than the No. 2 prospect in all of baseball. The guy is a clear stud and will be making millions fairly soon when he’s called into the majors later on this year.

Despite being a Major League stud in the making, the Atlanta Braves are extremely unhappy with the 20-year-old from Venezuela, not because of something controversial he said, but because he wears his hat in a way that they do not approve of.

“The Braves want Acuna to wear his hat straight and maintain a professional appearance while in uniform. But they do not want to change much about the fun-loving, flamboyant approach that has made him one of the game’s most exciting young players.

“The main thing he needs to remember is keep your head straight and respect [your surroundings],” Jones said. “Be humble, but a humble-cocky.”

Baseball has had a long history of cracking down on any player who attempts to show any signs of a personality. This is the very definition of a non-issue being turned into a faux outrage.
